3 minutes with a girl

Wednesday, November 26, 2008

My exam is on 28th Nov. , but still I am doing my social service(I am born helpful).

As a part of this social service, yesterday I went to Xiver Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar to submit 4 XAT forms(but I am not appearing for XAT... he he he) of some of my close friends(I am very helpful to my friends.....). I reached the institute, parked my bike in the parking lot and finally reached the admission office.

When I entered the room, there was a beautiful girl submitting her form. She was really beautiful. She was looking like a model. I came close to her. She was wearing a yellow top. Her bra outline was clearly visible(ohhh I lost all my moral values).

man at the counter : Write your XAT id on the back side of the draft. Staple the form with the draft and put in that box.

Fortunately I had a pen and unlike my section girls she hadn't.(yesterday was my day...he he he). She was in need of something which only I can fulfill.

girl in yellow top : Can you please give me your pen ?????????????????????

me:Yes, bu...tt this is a bbblack one. (stammering probably because of psychological reason)

girl in yellow top : Ok..its fine.

I again did a social service. I gave her the pen and she submitted her form. She went away without thanking me.

I submitted all the forms and came outside.

I regained all my moral values and returned home.

seminar

Last monday I gave my seminar...

Well I may remind you, in 7th sem, seminar credits only 1 credit points. If u r going to mess up everything in seminar, it hardly affects ur CGPA. But this affects a lot to ur pocket. U have to pay Rs 200/- to all those assholes listening/sleeping/gossiping during your presentation. If u really mess up the presentation, u may get a repeat and hence u have to again give the presentation.

Seminar started with all girls giving presentation one by one. Some gave about VPN, some about surface computing. Our branch topper presented optical camouflage(I can't even pronounce this term). I slept through out the presentation(I did a great favor by not gossiping). One of the girls also chose firewall(windows firewall) and her version of firewall was very unique and unlike other firewalls, it needed database(hmmmm...... ).

But boys were good about choosing topics. I found many of those informative. Stenography , web spoofing , Sandbox technology and CMS were nice ones.

At the end my turn came. Unfortunately I got a completely technical topic, Nmap. I prepared very hard. I read 2 big e books each of nearly 250 pages. I made a lot of experiments, took screen shots and finally made my slide show . Bhakta, Dina and Jari(Abinash) helped me a lot.
Abinash handled introduction and timing. It's because of him I god a very good introduction.
Bhakta did a lot of slide show modifications. My topic was really not suitable for 20 minute presentation. So I excluded all technical parts. now I am ready for my debuting (technical) seminar.

Finally I was standing before 70 students and 4 nearly dumb teachers. Some of my close friends making me feel comfortable. Cute faces were looking hostile. During their presentation, they were looking weird to me. During my presentation, I was looking weird to them(look how Newton's third law holds good when it comes human behavior) . My seminar started with trinity breaking into core system in The Matrix Reloaded and ended in answering to previously set up questions.

Now My seminar is over. i am happy.

here is a nice song.......I found it from my 6 year old e-mail inbox....

Around the corner I have a friend,
In this great city that has no end,
Yet the days go by and weeks rush on,
And before I know it, a year is gone.
And I never see my old friends face,
For life is a swift and terrible race,
He knows !I like him just as well,
As in the days when I rang his bell.
And he rang mine but we were younger then,
And now we are busy, tired men.
Tired of playing a foolish game,
Tired of trying to make a name.
"Tomorrow" I say! "I will call on Jim
Just to show that I'm thinking of him."
But tomorrow comes and tomorrow goes,
And distance between us grows and grows.
Around the corner, yet miles away,
"Here's a telegram sir," "Jim died today."
And that's what we get and deserve in the end.
Around the corner, a vanished friend.

Life .......

Thursday, September 4, 2008

Ohhh...after so long I am blogging. Now i am in 7th sem, got a fucking job in a respectable company and doing my project. Now life is miserable for the following reasons...

1>My college starts from 9.45 AM and ends at 4 PM.

2>I have to give a seminar on NMap (I have to stand at least for 10 minutes before 70 students packed in a small class room. )

3>I will be sitting in GATE on 2nd Sunday of February and I have not started my preparation.

4>I am still alone(he he he only a 21 year old can understand.)

5>Jari(one of my close friend) is regularly eating up my leftover brain.(ohh....this is a regular stuff and you may ignore this point).

6>From last 3 years I am trying to learn hacking and after three years I am still a newbie .(he he he I deserve a kick on my ass)

But in spite of above reasons , still I feel I am lucky. Because I have decided to do my M. Tech (though I am not sure whether I will qualify or not). Out of 70, only 4 are preparing for GATE(so less competition). NMap is not a bad topic and I am going to put all my research work in this seminar. I may not be a hacker, but I know a lot of stuff about this.

few quotes i like.....
